She (“Sher”) Jia works on a wide range of Intellectual Property matters, including patent and trademark litigation and prosecution. His experience includes work on federal district court litigation, Federal Circuit appeals, and Inter Partes Reviews before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). She’s work includes a wide range of electrical and mechanical technologies. 

She earned his Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law with a focus on Intellectual Property Law. While in law school, She worked for a New York law firm, drafting and prosecuting patent applications. In his third year of law school, he collaborated with a team of law students to analyze patents and business strategies for inventors of a robot hand invention through Emory Law’s TI:GER (Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results) program.

She’s training is as an Electronic Engineer. He studied Electronic Science and Technology at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. After graduation, he worked as a Technical Support Engineer for a national media service provider in China, gaining significant expertise in software and hardware maintenance and testing. He was responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing numerous new EPGs (electronic program guides) and completing comparative tests of two digital set-top boxes, reaching millions of clients.

She is also fluent in Mandarin and works closely with the firm’s Chinese clients.
